Sex Therapy

Talking about sex can feel vulnerable, but it shouldn’t feel impossible. Whether you’re struggling with desire, intimacy, or figuring out what you want, sex therapy gives you a space to talk openly and honestly—without judgment or shame.

We live in a world that gives us so many mixed messages about sex—how we "should" feel, what we "should" want, and who we "should" be. Most of us didn’t grow up in families or communities where open, honest conversations about sexuality were welcomed. It’s no wonder so many people feel confused, disconnected, or unsure how to navigate intimacy and desire.

In our work together I support you in reorienting your relationship to sexuality to something that can be about pleasure and connection rather than shame and confusion.

What is sex therapy?

Sex therapy is talk therapy focused on your sexual and intimate life. It's about creating a space where you can explore your questions, concerns, and hopes around sex, intimacy, and relationships. We’ll look at how your experiences, beliefs, and body may be impacting your sexual life—and explore what feels possible and right for you. Sex therapy will include a combination of insight based talk therapy and practical practices to take and work on at home.

Sex therapy, like all therapy, does not include any kind of sexual touch.

What we can explore together?

  • Desire differences between partners

  • Low or absent sexual desire or arousal

  • Pain during sex or discomfort with intimacy

  • Sex and intimacy after childbirth, illness, or life transitions

  • Exploring kink, BDSM, or non-traditional sexual interests

  • Opening up a relationship or navigating non-monogamy

  • Queer, non-binary, and LGBTQIA+ affirming conversations about sex and identity

  • Body image and self-esteem as they relate to sexuality

  • Communication about wants, needs, and boundaries

  • Unpacking shame, guilt, or confusion about sex

  • Out of control relationships to sex or porn
