What are your fees, and do you offer sliding scale spots?

Individual therapy is $200 for a 50-minute session

Extended 80-minute EMDR and Walk & Talk sessions for $300

Couples Therapy is $250 for a 50-minute session

Extended 80-minute couples sessions for $375

Most people I work with book weekly 50 minutes sessions but the extended sessions are available for those who want more space to dive deeper.

Occasionally, for EMDR people prefer to do extended sessions of 2-4 hours. This is billed at the same hourly rate.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for folks in financial need. Please feel free to ask about availability if cost is a barrier.

Do you take insurance, or can you provide superbills for reimbursement?

I am not paneled with any insurance companies directly, but I do provide superbills—detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance company if they offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers. If you’re unsure whether your insurance covers out-of-network therapy, it’s a good idea to check with them first.

What can I expect in a first session? What does therapy with you actually look like?

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and you don’t have to have it all figured out before you show up. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and start identifying what you want to work on. We’ll also talk about what kind of therapy might feel best for you. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and collaborative, where we move at a pace that feels right.

How long are sessions, and how often do people usually meet with you?

Most of my clients meet for 50-minute sessions once a week. As therapy progresses and we move into a maintenance phase, some people choose to meet biweekly before ending therapy altogether. I also offer extended 80-minute sessions—for couples who need more time to explore deeper issues, and for individuals doing EMDR, where longer sessions allow us to combine EMDR processing with traditional talk therapy in a way that feels more spacious and integrated.

Do you only work with people in California, or can you work with people in other states?

I currently work with clients anywhere in California & Nevada via Telehealth.

I’ve never done therapy before—what if I’m nervous or don’t know what to say?

That’s totally normal. Many people feel nervous when starting therapy, especially if it’s their first time. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin—part of my job is to help guide the process and create a space where you can show up just as you are. We’ll move at a pace that feels right, and I’ll support you in finding the words, even if it feels hard at first.

What if I’m not sure which kind of therapy I need—can we figure that out together?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know what kind of therapy you need before reaching out. Part of our work together is figuring out what feels supportive and effective for you. In our first sessions, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in and what kind of approach might be the best fit—whether that’s EMDR, somatic work, relational therapy, or a mix. We’ll figure it out together.
